Hi Beautiful Friends,
Have you ever felt that quiet nudge from within, gently guiding you toward what feels right for your body, heart, and spirit? That’s your internal GPS—your personal compass pointing you toward what brings you joy and fulfillment. I like to think of it as the key to following your bliss.
One reason I’m so passionate about somatics is that it encourages us to tune in to our bodies and honor our internal guidance. In somatic practices, we’re invited to explore what we need in each moment, free of judgment. There’s no “right” or “wrong” way to move—only what feels good and natural for you. Somatics meets you exactly where you are, offering a safe space to reconnect with your own body’s wisdom.
You can use this same approach in other aspects of life—nurturing that internal GPS and allowing it to guide you toward your bliss.
1. Start each day by asking yourself, “What do I need today?” Maybe it’s rest, creativity, or time in nature. Trust that inner voice, and give yourself permission to adjust your day to align with those needs.
2. Just as somatics teaches us to honor what we feel, we can apply that same principle to our interactions with others. Let your inner compass guide how you communicate, show up, and set boundaries. It’s okay to listen to what feels right for you.
3. Creativity is an expression of our inner world. Whether it’s art, writing, or even how you approach your work, follow what lights you up! Just like somatic movements, there’s no one-size-fits-all—only what fuels your passion and bliss.
4. Each of our bodies is unique, and somatic practices help us honor that. When it comes to your wellness routine, listen to what your body needs. Some days, you might crave an intense workout; other days, yin yoga or gentle somatic exercises could be exactly what you need to feel nourished and connected.
5. Just as somatics encourages us to listen deeply to the sensations of our body during movement, we can apply that same mindful awareness to the food we eat. Like eating the colors of the rainbow. By tuning in to how our body feels before, during, and after meals, we develop a deeper understanding of our true needs—whether it’s hunger, fullness, or even emotional states like stress. This somatic approach to eating helps us honor what our body craves, avoid mindless eating, and choose nourishing foods that support our overall well-being. I do this all the time and explore different foods. Yesterday, I ate melon seeds that has loads of benefits. It’s about trusting your internal cues and creating a positive, intuitive relationship with food
Imagine living an authentic life! It’s not about striving for perfection but about honoring where you are in the moment—and giving yourself permission to evolve with it.
