Yoga – Seat Yoga at your Desk
In this 15 minute yoga class, Rebekah and Baci the cat will guide you through a yoga sequence that may feel like a dance to open up the upper back, shoulders, neck, arms and hands.
Most of these seated yoga postures are suitable for beginning level students and seniors.
Welcome to Body Illumination!
The class begin right away but you may fast forward to :43 to begin practice.
This is a way to fit yoga into a busy life. It is great busy people who are seated for long periods and may work at a desk or computer. It is also ideal for seniors and students. At the end of the practice Rebekah also discusses workplace wellness programs. There is also a little bit of Feldenkrais exercises.
Beginners will be able to follow with visual and verbal prompts. Rebekah and Baci are outside but the whole class is designed to be seated in a chair or on the floor.
Bookmark this practice and repeat to invigorate the upper body 2-3xs per week.
